This has been purpose built for nursing homes and residential homes, includes benefits for both, the patient and the carer. The mattress is 13.5-gauge spring unit covered with layer of fire retardant upholstery. The whole of this innovative bed is covered with a unique new fabric, specially designed for the care market, which is both waterproof and allergen-free. It has very sturdy base with six built-in wooden legs with gliders and two castors. The extra height of the combines mattress and base of 24”(60cm) provides the ideal height making it easier for getting the patient in and out of bed.
